Freddy Loinaz-Lopez was born with a condition called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive disease that effects the functioning of your muscles.

Freddy, who goes by the artist name “Lione,” writes his own rap music and with the help of the Fishman Program at Penn Medicine, he’s able to have a better quality of life. Less time in the hospital means more time at home to write music.
